These posters were part of student output from a four week unit based around Maths With Attitude, Space & Logic, Years 7/8 kit. The kit integrates whole class investigations from Maths300 and 20 hands-on tasks.
Staff made the decision to use the four weeks offered in the kit as a unit to begin the first weeks of the students' first secondary school year. The head of department described the whole experience as 'magic'.
We would certainly be happy if it were our students who produced this quality and quantity of work in the first month of their secondary school career. |
